a few days ago, within the same day, mum saw an accident. this young girl got hit and died on the spot. also today, aunt laura's sister-in-law, brother and aunt may got into an accident. sis-in-law is now in a coma, and she might not make it.



life is so unpredictable.. and that really got me thinking for awhile. it is damn scary isn't it, the thought of not being able to see someone ever again, not having remotely expected it, and not being able to run away when your time's up. even if the person isn't someone entirely close, it'd still tug at your heart somewhat. so what more someone close to you.

am having a very interesting conversation with angie. i said, so it's true there's no such thing as a free lunch. to which she said, i know i will sound like a geek, but there is a free lunch. and it's called... compounding.

of zombie movies, plebeian/royal asses and complete randomness

Dawn's been my (in her words) zombie movie default since Dawn of the Dead. no pun intended. so no prizes for guessing who caught Resident Evil: Extinction with me last night.

despite her living in the next block, i last met her up more than a year ago. and one thing about the meetup that really stuck, was how it didn't remotely feel as if time had passed between us. i wasn't afraid it'd be awkward or anything to that effect; somehow i just knew i didn't have to be. perhaps 4 years of walks home together + a lot of other randomness has set us on permanent intangible ground :)

so now she says i'm the girly-princess. well, as long as i'm still laughing at your wisecracks and you still find me perplexing, whatever goes. besides, i'm sure the qian bian pink ds lite can work something out :P

my home became a bit of a refugee camp. evan came to my house, changed into shorts and just crashed on the floor. after she left, it was viv's turn.
