started the process of preparing for exchange.

then i stop to think, even though premature, i know part of me really can't bear to go.. i'll be missing so much. on my friends' lives, their birthdays, Good Friday, Easter, ruth and jason's wedding..

sigh.

had the first employee management group meeting today. we went around in circles a bit, but the people are nice :)

then had dinner with my family, and went grocery shopping. my brother and i found this hilarious.

something else really made me laugh too. there was this tub of HUGE frogs. ugh, it's seriously gross. yikes. i wonder who buys them. anyway, one dude tried to escape.

despite the simplicity of the day, i'm just happy.

spontaneity!

three people, a car and complete spontaneity.

it started with teow deciding to give his sushi buffet a miss. you wonder, which guy in his right mind would do that?? but then again, i suppose he wasn't in his right mind, not with the alternative company being too great a compelling factor to resist eh. forgive the guy already.

then, my evil friends psycho-ed me to miss cell [here's evan's cue to slap me]. i went home, got the car, and off we went!

lene wanted to watch a movie, teow and xiaomei didn't mind. lene then called buddy -thanks!- to help check out seats. and off we were again, to TM, to catch a movie in half an hour's time. Hairspray's really good. xiaomei and lene couldn't stop smiling for a long while after that.

-teow insisted on fondling poor koala and forcing said victim to smell his underarm. tsk-

we actually thought of DDR-ing, but the TM arcade was closed. on hindsight, thank God? sia suay only. too late for cheesecake, nowhere to bum. so off to Geylang for dou hua, and teow's other agendas.

but, lene cannot parallel park. and all the dirty old men were out in full force on the streets of Geylang on a Friday night, the most plausible reason for the terrible traffic. so teow hopped out, dapao-ed and we settled ourselves by xiaomei's poolside. paranoia over a scratched bumper, some lousy singing, a failed conspiracy to throw xiaomei into the pool and a long chat later, we finally went home.

no pictures :( our lousy camera phones were useless without light.

still, it was a great evening. and i question myself, how could i ever have felt that i had nobody in school? thank you guys, i really had my day made *hugs* :)

had fun today (: met the biz cg people for wedding planning. and as always, shiwei cracked us up with all his nonsense and terribly doctrinally unsound theories. pictures say much more than words, so here goes!

we went far east flora to look at flowers.. pretty!! wonder when i'll ever get flowers again.. hmm..

about a week to go before school starts! initially i was really jaded about everything and totally dreading school. but for various reasons, i started feeling otherwise. perhaps, because i feel that there's nothing.. i'm excited and anticipating what God can show me (:

but i'm happy (:

i finally met up with piggy on tues,
was at Dempsey with pea, lulu and evan on wed,
thurs went kbox (haha yes) with IDIC and it was hilarious,
today i met my dearest buddy! had a great time yakking away as always. send me pics pls (:

on a different note, what's the point in attracting men if they're from the wrong market segment. marketing taught us how to identify the target market, but it didn't quite elaborate on how not to be captured by a market you deem undesirable. goodness. well done, lene.

watching potter tomorrow. yay yay!! shopping will be a great bonus too.
