i was so irritated. just when i was feeling driven to mug, i left my calculators at home!! so couldn't do much. headed home at 3pm. sigh..

Tuesday

was fascinated by this oddly shaped van. again, the reason why i'm a goner for MA.

and found a dollar coin on the toilet bowl. pea reckoned it was for the toilet god.

Wednesday

buddy said she couldn't stand the bimbotism. actually the right picture is from last wed.

Guoyi made a PUNY crane. that's a 10-cent coin. he says he can make an even smaller one. stay tuned.

Friday
pretty donuts got xiaomei and i rather happy (:

Sam bought chocolate of varying cocoa contents from Germany. the 80% is potent man.

Saturday

watched Ratatouile with Joan and Eve. mac breakfast before that.

Joan got us flowers (:

went to buddy's house in the afternoon. we have matching shoes now.

should have taken a photo of the pokemons first. i'll remember next time.

ate at Chomp Chomp after that. the dou hua's totally worth the trip. yummy!

Sunday
they were talking about wedding rings. faints. in Gid's words, we're in a different league.

so exiciting. and it'd be even more so when -if- it comes to us!

no photo, but the gang of us sat down together for lunch. seems like the longest time since we last did that.

i'm looking forward to Friday (:

meet up with Ah Bang Lai and we had dinner at
this really pretty and quaint place, located surprisingly amidst the bustle of
Raffles City. it's called Season's Reasons and apparently they
change their interior design every 6 months to reflect a season. ABL chatted a
bit with one of the owners while i was taking photos. i'm sure we so made her
day =p here are the photos!

the chandelier's hand made, and there are these little bird cages hanging from the ceiling. the theme for now feels a little wedding-ish, what with all the whites and roses.

31 August was yet another Friday of gallavanting. fun!

Somebunny Special

went to my buddy's house on Saturday evening. it was quite an adventure driving there!

i didn't know she loved Barbie THAT much.

and it was hilarious how i got -something- from her. she's evil.

still, glad i could spend time with her this way :)

we then met with Guoyi for supper at chomp chomp. i'm in love with Serangoon Gardens already!

met up with the intangible one today, after quite a bit of drama. sheesh.

on hindsight it's funny, but please don't scare me like that again.

as always, words can never do justice..

so i simply say; thank you, for everything.

uncreative title and boring post, because i'm saving for the proper entry *when* pictures come in. but knowing shawn, i'd not be getting them till very much later.

still, i had to do yesterday/today justice by remotely mentioning it. had a whale of a time.. haircut, studying at bedok mac, simpang bedok and then xiaomei's poolside.

thanks to all for the time, it was just great. also am very glad that shawn could talk to you guys.
no better way to end August with a bang, and i really had my day made (:
